Form-I-glas is a knitted fiberglass tape with a unique two way stretch that allows it to conform to turns and irregularities in pipe fittings and joints. A heat resistant surface mastic is used with this tape for insulation of pipes. Its porous structure permits easy penetration of sizing or mastic. Form-i-glas meets mil spec MIL C-20079 type II class 3.

Applications are in electrical, communications, electronics and aerospace related fields. CNF Tie Tapes are characterized by high strength, dimensional stability and abrasion resistance. They also resist chemical attack, fungus, and heat. These tapes are non fraying with good knot strength and controlled shrinkage. Non shrinkage versions are also available
